INGREDIENTS
Soya nuggets – 1 cup
Onion large – 1 (chopped)
Tomato – 1 (chopped)
Green capsicum – 1 (seeded& diced)
Spring onions – for garnish
Sesame seeds – 1 tsp
Green chilli – 1(minced)
Garlic clove- 2 (minced)
Ginger – ½ “(minced)
Red sweet chili sauce – 1 tsp
Soya sauce- 1 tsp
Dry red chili – 2
Oil – 1 Tbsp
Salt – to taste
METHOD
- Boil about 3 cups of water and add about 1/2 tsp salt and the soya chunks to it. Keep closed and let it soak for 30 mins.
- Heat the oil in a pan and add the dry red chilies’. To this, add the onions, capsicum, green chilies’ and ginger-garlic mixture.
- Sauté for 2-3 mins on medium heat until the red chilies’ turn brown and the onions get transparent.
- Drain the soaked chunks. Squeeze them gently to remove excess water and add to the pan. Add salt and toss well, letting it cook for about 5 mins and until well combined.
- Add the soya sauce, chopped tomato and sauce(red sweet chili & soya sauce). Mix well.
- Turn the heat to high and add this to the pan with the soya nuggets. Mix well on high for 30 seconds and then lower the heat to medium-low. Cook closed for 8-10 mins.
- Garnish with the spring onions & sprinkle sesame seeds on it.
- Serve hot in a dish.
